This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application Ability Amore Services Pty Ltd (“Ability Amore Services”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

By using Ability Amore, you agree to the terms of this Policy and our Terms of Use.


1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use our App:

  • Name, email, phone, and profile details;
  • Device identifiers (e.g., IP address, Android ID);
  • Location data (precise and approximate, with consent);
  • Photos, videos, or media you upload;
  • Information you voluntarily share (such as interests or preferences).

Because Ability Amore is a dating app, you may optionally provide sensitive information (e.g., disabilities or sexual preferences). Such data is collected only with your explicit consent and used solely for matchmaking.


2. Age Restriction
Ability Amore is intended for users aged 18 years and above.During registration, users are required to provide their date of birth.If the provided age is below 18, the user will not be allowed to sign up or access the app.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from minors.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will promptly delete it.

 

3. Permissions We Use

Our app requests certain Android permissions to enable its core features and ensure a smooth user experience. We do not use these permissions for any purpose other than providing the described functionality.

  • INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE & ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Required for core app functions such as login, chat, and real-time calls.

  • ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Used to display location-based content or services within the app. Location is only accessed with your consent and can be disabled anytime.

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Allows users to upload, update, or manage profile pictures and shared media.

  • CAMERA: Enables capturing or uploading profile photos or short videos directly within the app.

  • RECORD_AUDIO & MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS: Enables real-time voice and video calls. Audio is transmitted live and never recorded or stored.

  • BLUETOOTH: Routes audio through Bluetooth devices during calls for better sound quality.

  • POST_NOTIFICATIONS & ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY: Sends chat replies, call requests, and important app updates to the user.

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW: Allows the app to display incoming call notifications or pop-ups even when the app is running in the background, only with your permission.

  • WAKE_LOCK & VIBRATE: Keeps calls active when the screen is off and provides vibration alerts for calls and notifications.

  • CHANGE_NETWORK_STATE: Ensures a stable connection by managing network transitions during active calls or chats.

  • USE_FULL_SCREEN_INTENT: Displays full-screen notifications for incoming calls or important alerts.

We only request these permissions when necessary and solely to support the intended functionality of the app. Users can revoke any permission anytime from their device settings.

 
4. Use of Personal Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Operate and provide the Ability Amore app;
  • Enable matchmaking, messaging, and calls;
  • Customize user experience and improve app features;
  • Send service-related notifications;
  • Handle support requests and technical issues and
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

 

5. Data Security and Retention

We store personal information on secure, encrypted servers. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.

 

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may share data with:
Other users (as part of matchmaking);

Third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, payment gateways) and

Regulators or law enforcement, when legally required.

Some data may be processed overseas (e.g., United States or India) by trusted, compliant providers.

We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

Data is shared only with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App.

 

8. Children’s Privacy
Our app is strictly intended for adults and is rated according to international standards:

To help enforce this, the app includes a feature during the sign-up process.
When a user enters their date of birth (DOB), the system automatically checks their age.
if the calculated age is below 18, the app prevents the user from creating an account or accessing any part of the service.

We do not knowingly collect, store, or use personal data from anyone under 18 years of age (or the minimum age applicable in their region).
If it is discovered that an account has been created using false information or that we have inadvertently collected data from an underage user, that account and all related data will be permanently deleted.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information without consent may contact us at info@abilityamore.com.au, and we will promptly remove such information.

 

9. Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data anytime through:
The in-app Delete Account feature, or

Emailing info@abilityamore.com.au

We will delete your data unless retention is required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

 

10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
Access, update, or delete your account data.
Request restriction of processing of your data.
Withdraw consent where applicable.

  • Firebase – Authentication, push notifications
  • ZEGOCLOUD – Real-time communication (calls and chats)

  • Google Play’s User Data Policy
  • Permissions and APIs that Access Sensitive Information policy
  • Prominent Disclosure and Consent Requirements

Before collecting sensitive data, Ability Amore:

Clearly discloses its purpose in-app;
